Surreal Villareal

John Stansell raised it up preflop to 24,000 before Eddie Villareal moved all in. Stansell made the call.

Villareal: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Stansell: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Villareal makes a miraculous straight just before the break once again to see him jump to 270,000 chips! An unfortunate Stansell was eliminated.

Thulson Versus Zeihen

Daniel Zeihen got all his chips in the pot preflop with {8-Hearts} {8-Clubs} against Mike Thulson's {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} and the race was on.

The flop came {2-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {6-Hearts} and Zeihen was looking good until the river spiked the {Q-Clubs} putting Thulson out in front. The river needed to be an eight for Zeihen to stay alive but the {A-Spades} solidified Thulson's victory.

Thulson has 265,000 in chips.

Wilson Masters the Master

Men The Master
Men The Master
Martin Wilson has taken down Men 'The Master' Nguyen with a great acting job. Wilson called under the gun and the Master checked in the big blind. The flop came {10-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {2-Spades} and the Master checked. Wilson threw out 8,000 and the Master quickly came over the top for 38,000. Wilson called and discouragingly stated, "I played this all wrong."

The turn brought the {3-Hearts} and the Master pushed all in for his remaining 60,000 and Wilson insta-called.

The hands were flipped and the Master tabled {9-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} . Wilson flipped over {5-Hearts} {5-Clubs} and had the Master's tournament life in his hands. The river placed the {6-Spades} on the board and Men the Master left the room in surprisingly quite fashion.

Ron Brown Eliminated

Ron Brown was crippled in a hand against Larry Bass with Brown's pocket sevens being overrun by Bass' {A-Hearts}{J-Spades} on a board of {9-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{A-Spades}.

This hand left Brown with about 7,000 and he decided to commit them with {6-Spades}{9-Spades} against Fred Berger's pocket fives.

The board ran out {A-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and Brown is eliminated.
