Denys Drobyna Eliminated in 15th Place ($35,843)

Dennis Drobyna moved all in preflop and Sergey Rybachenko made the call.

Drobyna: {Q-Spades} {K-Clubs}
Rybachenko: {4-Spades} {4-Diamonds}

Board: {5-Spades} {9-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {10-Hearts}

On thing to note is that while the hand was going on Rybachenko didn't say a word or show emotion in any way shape or form. When the hand was over, Rybachenko went back to stacking his chips.

Drobyna becomes our 15th place finisher and will receive $35,843.

Miraculous Chop

Eric Crain and Kenneth Shelton have just chopped a pot, but not in typical fashion.

All the chips were in preflop with Crain holding {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} against Shelton's {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. It looked like Crain was heading for a double up when the flop came {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} to give him a set, leaving Shelton drawing dead to win the hand. His only hope was a runner-runner for a straight to split the pot.

Drawing to a runner-runner split pot isn't the best situation to be in, but wouldn't you know it, the {7-Diamonds} on the turn and the {6-Spades} on the river put a straight on board and they chopped it up!

Play Continues

Since this event is not televised, we have just taken a vote as to whether we will play just one more level or play down to our final table of nine. It was a bit of a split decision, but it looks like at this stage we are going to play right through until we are down to our last nine.

Of course this decision may be reviewed again at any time.

Dan Martin Eliminated in 16th Place ($25,301)

Daniel Rome raised to 53,000 preflop and Dan 'Wretchy' Martin raised to 260,000, which put him all in. Kenneth Shelton went into the tank and finally folded exposing {10-Hearts} {10-Clubs}. Rome made the call and had Martin covered.

Rome: {A-Clubs} {K-Hearts}
Martin: {J-Diamonds} {9-Clubs}

Board: {5-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {10-Spades} {6-Spades}

Shelton was visibly upset after the hand as he would have hit a set.

After the hand Rome moved up to 640,000
