Stephen Ladowsky Eliminated in 21st Place ($28,651)

We caught up with play on the flop, the board reading {K-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}. Kido Pham bet out 30,000. Stephen Ladowsky bumped it up to 130,000, and Pham made the call.

The turn came the {7-Diamonds}. Ladowsky moved all in for a total of 158,000 and Pham looked him up, putting in a quick call.

Ladowsky: {A-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {J-Clubs} {8-Spades}
Pham: {5-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} {9-Spades}

Ladowsky saw that he was in trouble, needing to pick one of the non-diamond tens out of the deck to survive. No such luck though; the {6-Clubs} peeled off on fifth street, spelling the end of Ladowsky's event. That's the bad news. The good news is that he will pick up a check for nearly $30,000 on his way out the door.

In other news, Kido Pham is rolling. With that knockout pot, he has worked up over the million mark, sitting with 1,145,000 in chips and a huge lead.

Rob Hollink Eliminated in 22nd Place ($28,651)

Rob Hollink - 22nd Place
Rob Hollink - 22nd Place
Rob Hollink was short of time and short of chips. Now he's out of both. He got his last 40,000 in preflop with {A-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {6-Clubs} and was called by Josh Arieh and his naked aces -- {A-Hearts} {A-Spades} {10-Clubs} {8-Diamonds}. The board ran out {9-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {2-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {7-Clubs}. Arieh's hand held up, knocking Hollink out to collect his $28,651.

Brant Hale Eliminated in 23rd Place ($28,651)

We pick up the action on the flop in a heads-up tussle between Kido Pham and Brant Hale. There is about 80,000 in the pot already, and the board reads {A-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {4-Hearts}. Pham checks and Hale comes out with a bet of 65,000. Pham puts in a check-raise, sliding in 265,000 chips. Hale has 194,000 left, and he moves them in, putting himself at risk.

Pham: {7-Clubs} {7-Spades} {6-Hearts} {5-Spades}
Hale: {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {4-Diamonds}

The turn and river come {J-Spades} and {3-Diamonds}, failing to get Hale over the hump and sending him out 23rd place, worth almost $30,000.

A New Chip Leader Emerges

After nearly two days atop the leaderboard, Josh Arieh has finally been caught and overtaken. After the big pot with Jamie Pickering, Brandon Moran now sits with 750,000. Arieh is not even in second anymore. Michael Mizrachi has recovered from his drop all the way to 25,000 earlier in the day, and is now holding 600,000 warm chips.

Paging ESPN

One hour and 15 minutes later, the ESPN cameras are still a no-show. Being situated in the press box is preferable for us, so we're not really complaining -- just noting the absurdity of the situation.

Sigi Stockinger Crippled, then Eliminated in 25th Place ($28,651)

Sigi Stockinger - 25th Place
Sigi Stockinger - 25th Place
It took two hands to knock Sigi Stockinger out of today's tournament. In the first hand, he was all in preflop against Rino Mathis. Mathis held {J-Spades} {J-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} against Stockinger's {Q-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {7-Spades}. A board of {K-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} put the hurt on Stockinger, leaving him with just 9,000 chips.

Those chips went in the pot on the next hand with {10-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {9-Spades} {2-Hearts}. He was up against Len Ashby's {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {9-Clubs}, which had flopped the nut flush. The board bricked out, sending Stockinger to the rail $28,651 richer.
