Vahedi Loses a Big Hand

Perhaps we know a little more why Amir Vahedi doesn't like Omaha. Vahedi was holding {6-?}

on a board of {6-?}

. One of his opponents held {A-?}

for the only low, while yet another held {K-?}

for a better full house. The turn took away half of the pot from Vahedi, while the river took the entire pot away from him.

According to Amir Vahedi, "Omaha is a suckers game". He said, "A bunch of guys were sitting around playing holdem and they said, why don't we add a couple more cards? Let people change their hands."

Maybe Vahedi should talk with Robert "Chip Burner" Turner about this. Turner is the main person credited with creating the game that is today known as Omaha.
