Hand #34 - Shannon Shorr

Chris Bjorin has the button in seat 6. Theo Tran raises to 55,000 from under the gun. Shannon Shorr, next to act, moves all in for roughly 280,000. Action folds around back to Tran and he goes into the tank. Tran's supporters stand and eagerly await his decision. After a good three minutes, during which time Tran seemed intent on both folding and calling numerous times, Tran finally passes. Shannon Shorr wins the pot.

Hand #32 - Carter Gill

Carter Gill has the button in seat 4 and he limps in. Mihai Manole folds from the small blind and Chris Bjorin checks his big blind option. The flop comes the {8-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} and both players check. The turn is the {4-Diamonds}. Bjorin checks, Carter Gill bets 20,000 and Bjorin folds.

Hand #30 - J.C. Tran

Theo Tran has the button in seat 2. J.C. Tran raises to 40,000 from late position. Shannon Shorr reraises to 143,000 from the small blind. Carter Gill folds from the big blind and action is back to Tran. He stares down at his chips, slowly shuffling them for a good 45 seconds before finally moving all in for a total of 222,000. Shorr is pot-committed, and he insta-calls. The players show:

Shorr: {6-Spades} {5-Clubs}
Tran: {K-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}

The flop comes {9-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {9-Spades} helping neither player. The turn comes the {2-Spades} giving Shorr an inside straight draw in addition to his live cards. The river is the {Q-Hearts} hitting Tran squarely and doubling him up to 474,000.

Hand #29 - Shannon Shorr

Matt Keikoan has the button in seat 1. Mihai Manole raises to 45,000 from early position. Keikoan calls from the button and Theo Tran quickly tosses it in from the small blind. Shannon Shorr isn't as quick to react, he ponders the situation for quite a while before eventually reraising all in for 194,000. Manole calls and the players show:

Shorr: {K-Clubs} {K-Diamonds}
Manole: {7-Clubs} {7-Spades}

The board comes out {K-Hearts} {9-Spades} {4-Spades} {10-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} and Shorr wins a much-needed pot, doubling up to about 420,000. Manole has fallen back slightly under 1 million.
