Fo' Shorr

Shannon Shorr
Shannon Shorr
From the looks of things, we have ourselves a new chip leader once again.

Shannon Shorr and Phil Collins (not the Phil Collins) just became involved in a massive pot.

Collins put in a preflop raise, making it 15,000 to go. Shorr obliged him with the call, and the flop brought {4-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {2-Hearts} . Shorr bet out 21,000, and Collins pumped it up to 62,000. Shorr made his move, pushing all in to cover the other player, close to 190,000 total.

Collins made the call with a set, {3-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} , and Shorr showed down {K-Clubs} {10-Clubs} .

The club flush got there on the turn for Shorr, as the {Q-Clubs} put Collins behind, needing the board to pair to stay alive.

No such luck though, as the river {9-Hearts} was a complete brick.

After raking in that monster pot, Shannon Shorr is our new leader with 460,000. While writing this, he has chipped up further to a whopping 510,000.
