Tim Taft Eliminated in 13th Place ($26,076)

Tim Taft
Tim Taft
From under the gun, J.C. Tran opens the betting with a raise to 35,000. Matt Keikoan and Tim Taft both make the call.

The three-way flop comes out {8-Clubs} {10-Spades} {8-Diamonds} . The betting is checked over to Taft, and he moves all in for 107,000. J.C. Tran flat-calls, but Keikoan is not so easily pacified. He puts in a raise over the top, adding another 200,000 in chips to the total bet. This is enough to get J.C. to duck out, and we have a showdown:

Taft: {Q-Clubs} {10-Clubs}
Keikoan: {8-Spades} {9-Spades}

Taft is well behind his opponent's trips and in danger of being knocked out. The turn and river seal his fate when they come {J-Hearts} ,{A-Diamonds} respectively.

Tim Taft has certainly had a good two days, and he will take home a nice little payday of over $26,000 for his performance.

Keikoan, meanwhile, has nearly 1,000,000 in chips after taking down that oversized pot.
