As we near the dinner break, several tables are being broken at once and players are being assigned new seats. The table at which Isabelle Mercier and Ayaz Mahmood were sitting across from one another recently broke.
As the players stood waiting to learn where they were headed, Mahmood called out "She is disappointed," pointing at Mercier. The other players asked what Mahmood meant.

Tom turned over pocket sevens for quads and took the pot down. Many were surprised that there wasn't a reraise, but Steve was certainly thankful.
Kirk Morrison
Kirk Morrison has taken a couple of recent hits to his stack. In the first hand Peter Jepsen took down a pot on the river with an 8,000 chip bet on a board of , forcing Morrison out of the pot.

Sam Khouiss just became the latest victim of the 2008 Main Event. He was short-stacked and pushed all in with after a player had raised under the gun. When Khouiss moved, his opponent called him down, showing .
