The Kevin O'Donnell Show Canceled

Probably will not end up on 'The View'
Probably will not end up on 'The View'
Kevin O'Donnell was all in against another opponent. O'Donnell held {7-?} {7-?} and his opponent held {K-?} {K-?}. The flop of {K-?} {J-?} {J-?} left O'Donnell needing running sevens to avoid cancellation. A turn {10-?} left O'Donnell drawing dead. The river {4-?} became irrelevant and The Kevin O'Donnell show is canceled.

The Song Remains the Same

David Singer just can't stop accumulating chips. On this latest hand Singer opened for 900 and the small blind called. The flop was {6-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {4-Diamonds}. The small blind checked, Singer bet 1,800 and the small blind called. The turn was the {2-Hearts}. The small blind shoved all in for 4,825 and Singer called. Singer turned up {A-Spades} {3-Spades} to the small blind's {A-Diamonds} {4-Spades}. The river was the {5-Diamonds} and Singer dragged the pot with a straight, pushing his stack up to 104,000.

Suck/Re-Suck

Keith Ferera got his chips all in before the flop, holding {A-Hearts} {A-Spades} vs. his opponent's {J-Clubs} {J-Hearts}. Ferera's opponent stood up, defeated and waited for his fate. When the flop came down {J-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {2-Clubs} he breathed a sigh of relief and sat back down, ready to do business again. The turn was the {3-Spades}, but the {A-Clubs} peeled off on the river, giving the pot to Ferera. Time for our boy with the jacks to stand up and head for the rail.

After the hand, Ferera was up to 72,000.

Steve Paul-Ambrose Eliminated

Steve Paul-Ambrose Eliminated
Steve Paul-Ambrose Eliminated
After recently copping a bad beat to lose a chunk of his stack, Steve Paul-Ambrose has just run pocket jacks into an opponent's pocket queens with all the chips going in preflop. The board bricked out and, just like that, Paul-Ambrose is out the door.

Mizzi Sends Opponent in Tizzy

Preflop, Sorel Mizzi raised to 850 and his opponent raised to 2,150. Mizzi then went into the tank. After thinking for a couple of minutes the folllowing went down:

Mizzi: "Will you fold if I show?"

Opponent: "No."

Mizzi: "If I fold, and I show you what I fold, will you show?"

Opponent: "Nope"

Finally the clock was called on Mizzi and as the floor was counting down, Mizzi said, "I'm all-in." Mizzi's opponent called.

Mizzi showed {Q-Clubs} {Q-Spades} and his opponent showed {A-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}.

Board: {2-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {10-Spades} {7-Hearts} {7-Clubs}

Queens held and Mizzi is up to 56,000.

Vohra Eliminated By Clark

Raj Vohra, during Event #21
Raj Vohra, during Event #21
Raj Vohra has just been eliminated by Gary Clark. The pot was about 12,000 on the flop, with the rest of the chips going all in on a jack-high flop. It was a classic cold-deck situation with Vohra's pocket kings running into the pocket aces of Clark. There was no miracle for Vohra and he is left heading to the rail.

"It was all skill!" joked Clark as he now sits with close to 80,000 chips.

Chris Anzivino Crackes Aces

Chris Anzivino has just taken down a monster pot to storm up the chip count leaderboard. We caught the action on the turn on a board of {7-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} with Anzivino all in against his opponent who tanked for a long time before making the call with {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}. However he was in bad shape as Anzivino flipped {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} for top set.

The river was the {4-Spades} and Anzivino jumps to over 80,000 chips!

The Man Known as Caldwell

John Caldwell
John Caldwell
John Caldwell has added some more chips to his stack after making a raise that found one caller. They both checked the {2-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {5-Hearts} flop before Caldwell bet the {5-Diamonds} and river {5-Spades}. He managed to get his opponent to fold on the river and he raked in the pot. Caldwell is at about 17,500 at the moment.

The Man Who Has Luck in the Morning . . .

. . . has luck in the afternoon. Or so an Irish proverb goes. Perhaps Irish poker pro Padraig Parkinson had some luck this morning.

A player in middle position shoved for 30,000, and Parkinson, down to just 11,500, decided it was a good time to try to double up.

Parkinson showed {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}, while his opponent showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. Fortunate timing for Parkinson, it appeared.

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, and Parkinson is back up to 23,000.

He Can Dodge Bullets, But They Don't Care

ESPN cameras have been filiming different pros through the Amazon Room since the beginning of the day. If they are in a big hand, or if something interesting is going on at the tables, the cameras are there.

Something interesting just occurred over in the Orange section. Phil Hellmuth came over and was shaking hands and chatting up different players. The ESPN camera crews didn't even move.
