Canseco Sent to the Dugout

From middle position, Jose Canseco raised to 1,000. Two players called, one of them being Andrew Bradshaw. The flop came down {8-Spades} {6-Clubs} {3-Spades} and Canseco bet out 5,000. One player folded and then Bradshaw raised all in. Jose went into the tank.

Bradshaw stood up from the table and told Canseco that he had him beat. After another few moments, Bradshaw began talking about his hand again before the dealer told him to stop.

Canseco then said, "I got to call," and rolled over pocket kings.

Bradshaw replied, "Why would you call? I told you twice."

Bradshaw flipped over a set of threes, holding the {3-Clubs} {3-Diamonds}.

The turn came the {7-Hearts} and the river the {J-Spades}.

Bradshaw asked Canseco again why he called and Canseco simply said, "That's the way the game's played."

A few hands later, Canseco put his last few thousand into the pot with {A-?} {10-?} and was called by {A-?} {K-?}. The board ran out {A-?} {K-?} {3-?} {6-?} {3-?} and that would be all she wrote for Canseco.

Mizrachi Makes Huge Fold

Board: {6-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {8-Diamonds}

With 10,000 in the pot and facing a 27,000 raise from Chip Jett, Michael Mizrachi folded after flashing the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} .

"I've got to be the worst player in the world," he said as he folded.

Michael laid down the straight with a possible flush on the board, and doing so left himself with only 5,300 left in chips. Chip Jett is up to 46,000.

Turn and River Earn Sully a Pot

Sully Erna
Sully Erna
Sully Erna raised to 600 from early position. The button called.

The flop came down {Q-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {10-Diamonds} and Erna bet out 625. The button raised to 2,125 and Erna called.

The river was the {10-Hearts} and both players checked.

Erna rolled over {K-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} and his opponent angrily mucked {Q-?} {3-?} and was counterfeited on his two pair.

Wells Strikes Out

MLB pitcher David Wells, who has played for the NY Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays, among others, took his shot at the Main Event today and unfortunately met an early end.

Down to only 4,500 in chips, Wells shoved all in preflop with {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} and was off to the races with an opponent holding {A-Hearts} {K-Spades}. The flop came jack-high and Wells turned a queen for a set, doubling him up to 9,000.

Shortly thereafter, the big blind bet out 600 on a board of {5-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {2-Spades} and Wells raised to 1,800. The big blind called, then posed a question to Wells.

"How much do you have left, sir?"

"About 7,000," was Wells's reply.

The big blind moved the rest of his stack in dark and as the {7-Hearts} landed on the river, Wells called.

Wells turned up {A-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} for trip deuces, but his opponent had a full house with {2-Clubs} {5-Hearts} and won the pot.

"Did you have fun, David?" he asked, as he stacked up his chips.

"Yeah, I had fun. But it sucks to leave early," replied Wells, as he hit the rail.

Gallo Gone

Mike Gallo has been eliminated after getting all of his chips in on the river with pocket kings but his opponent spiked a set on the river with pocket eights on a board of {3-?}{Q-?}{9-?}{5-?}{8-?}.

"You run like a God. Good luck to you" said Gallo as he exited the tournament area.

No Phish Food Here

The flop was {3-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {8-Spades}. Mike 'Ice Cream' Halioua bet once it was checked to him by his opponent, before a chunky raise was administered.

Halioua started asking his opponent if he had a set and other probing questions. He eventually folded {9-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} and was shown {8-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} by his opponent. Great laydown.

AK for CK

A player in middle position called, as did Dominic Kay from the button, before C.K. Hua raised it up to 800 from the small blind. Both players called so we headed to flop of {3-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds}.

Hua led out for 1,850 and only Kay called. The turn came {2-Hearts}. Hua showed strength again by betting 5,700. It was a big bet that had Kay thinking, but he eventually folded. He said he had {7-?} {7-?} and Hua said he had {A-?} {K-?}.

Kay down to 14,000, Hua up to 72,000.
