Matt Ross is one of the more gregarious players we've encountered in the field today-- friendly, chatty, always talking up his table. In a recent pot, he got all his money in with {K-Hearts}

against an opponent with {9-Hearts}

{9-Diamonds}

and took it down when he flopped a set.

"I win a pot with KINGS!! I get a WHEELCHAIR!!" he roared.

Mystified by his comment, we had to ask. Why a wheelchair?

Evidently Ross has a torn meniscus in his knee and has had some trouble navigating the crowded hallways with his injury. He's currently sitting on a 46,000 stack.
