You won't go far in a poker tournament if you can't win a few races, and John Myung lost two that put him out of the Main Event. Earlier he lost with ace-king to pocket sevens. On his final hand he lost with pocket eights to ace-king. Reverse those two hands and he has a very healthy stack, but they went the other way and Myung has been eliminated.
