Erick Lindgren is out
Erick Lindgren is out
There will be no more bracelets for Erick Lindgren this year. He was taken out of the Main Event on back-to-back hands by Brian Brubaker.

On the first hand, both players got all of the chips in the middle preflop, Brubaker holding {K-Diamonds} {K-Spades} against Lindgren's {J-Diamonds} {J-Clubs}. Neither player improved, but Lindgren had Brubaker covered and retained a few chips.

On the very next hand, Lindgren looked down at {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds} and pushed his last few chips into the middle. Brubaker was the only caller and was ahead against with {7-Spades} {7-Hearts}. The board ran out ten high to send Lindgren to the rail. He departed the Amazon Room through the side exit, by the press box.
