No More Maura

Maura Harris open-shoved in the cutoff with pocket {5-Diamonds} {5-Spades} but got looked up by Franny Bartolone in the small blind holding {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts}. A {6-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {10-Diamonds} board later, and it was all over for Harris.

Grey Day for Brown

Jamie Kerstetter shoved with {J-Clubs} {9-Hearts} and got called by Shelly Brown holding a way-in-front pocket tens, but an outdrawy {3-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {J-Spades} {A-Hearts} board later and Brown was down to just 2,000.

All in on the small blind next hand, her {3-Clubs} {8-Spades} was in pretty bad shape against a raiser's {Q-Clubs} {J-Clubs}, and she duly busted out when the board first gaveth and then did taketh away.

Board: {3-Spades} {5-Spades} {10-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}

Level: 17

Blinds: 3,000/6,000

Ante: 500

Can She Kick It? Yes She Kantor!

Just before the break, Alya Nazarali raised to 15,000 under the gun, only for Anna Kantor to go all in for 100,000. Nazarali thought about it for a while before deciding she liked her chances -- but it was the wrong decision and she is busto.

Nazarali: {10-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}
Kantor: {Q-Hearts} {Q-Clubs}

Board: a ten-less {6-Hearts} {3-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {4-Diamonds}

Kantor, meanwhile, is up to a very healthy 177,000.

Withers Withers and Dies

Michelle Withers opened, only to be met by a reraise from Kim Rios. Withers re-popped all in for 60,000 total, Rios called, and it was a massive race for Withers' tournament life.

Withers: {A-Hearts} {Q-Clubs}
Rios: {8-Clubs} {8-Spades}

Board: a non-binking {7-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {9-Hearts}

Withers is therefore busto, while Rios is right up there with 125,000.

Austin Flounders

The domination continues -- the latest player to get her chips in and find herself dominated is Mary Austin.

Austin: {Q-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}
Colette Brown: {K-Hearts} {J-Hearts}

Board: {9-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {7-Clubs} {7-Hearts}

Austin is busto, while Brown is up to 190,000.

Beltran-sit Out of the Amazon Room

Thuy "Cindy" Beltran shoved under the gun for just 21,500 with {J-?} {Q-?} and found herself utterly dominated when Karina Jett made the call with {A-?} {Q-?} on the button. A complete lack of suckouts on the board, and Beltran is down.

Jett is up to a still rather precarious 45,000.
