Channing Doubles Up

Neil Channing had bet 4,500 on the river of a {K-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {9-Clubs} board only to be reraised all in.

Channing only had about 7,000 behind and took a few minutes into the break to call. Eventually he did though and was shown {Q-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}, Channing flipped {4-Clubs} {5-Clubs} for a baby flush to scoop the pot.

His friend Nik Persaud was in hysterics at this point, "What's with the slowroll?"

Channing said, "He seemed so incredibly comfortable like he had the best hand..."

Singer's Swan Song

Tony Cousineau raises preflop from the small blind and David Singer makes the call in the big.

The flop is {J-?} {10-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} and Cousineau led out, Singer raised and Cousineau shoved, Singer committed, made the call.

Despite this flurry of action, Cousineau was ahead at this point, with King-high.

Cousineau: {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts}
Singer: {8-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds}

Somehow both players missed everything on the turn and river meaning that Cousineau's King-high was good for the whole pot.

Lind-Grinning

Erick Lindgren is in a very good mood, he's just bought a round of Coronas for his table (which includes Shaun Deeb). Everyone seems happy at his table (including the cocktail server who received a $20 tip).

Personally I'd prefer Sierra Nevada to Coronas, but that's just me. (Or Trappist Monk Beer if we were back in Europe)

Lindgren is sitting on a healthy stack of 70,000 at this time.

Victor Ramd-Out

No longer feeling aw-white...
No longer feeling aw-white...
Victor Ramdin has ended a topsy-turvy day, moving all in with {Q-Hearts} {J-Clubs} and getting called by {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts} which held on it's advantage despite a nervy sweat on a {9-Spades} {7-Clubs} {10-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} board.

Not So Cunning-Ham

Allen Cunningham flat called a raise preflop and saw a {K-?} {7-?} {3-?} flop.

The action quickly became, bet, raise, all in, call as Cunningham flipped over {K-?} {10-?} but had run into {A-?} {K-?} and couldn't spike a miracle 10 on the {8-?} turn or {9-?} river.

Ummm, Berto?

Shark!
Shark!
Humberto Brenes has doubled up after pushing all in on a {8-Spades} {6-Spades} {4-Hearts} with {8-Hearts} {5-Spades} and eventually getting looked up by {10-Clubs} {10-Hearts}. The {J-Diamonds} on the turn helped neither player but the {7-Spades} on the river filled the Costa Rican's inside straight draw.

Brenes is now up to 23,000.

The guy next to Humberto said, "I thought you didn't play those."

Humberto replied, "It's the new dealer, I told you all I was gonna start playing now. Good dealer!"

Men (Doesn't) Nguyen

Men Nguyen has dropped down to 16,000 after getting all-in preflop against a shorter stack with {A-Spades} {J-Hearts} but running into {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}. The board of {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {5-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} couldn't provide him with that elusive jack or indeed a K-Q-T board.
