Ramdin is Not the Victor

Well he is and he isn't, if you see what I mean.

There was about 2,000 in the pot and the flop was {J-Spades}

and Ramdin bet 1,150, only for his opponent to seemingly look unsure about the bet and throw in 2,150.

It seemed as though this was meant as a call, but since it was over half the size of the initial bet, it was counted as a raise. Ramdin quickly moved all-in and was instantly called.

Ramdin: {A-Hearts}

Other Player: {9-?}

Ramdin suddenly picked up outs when one of the better cards for him, the {Q-Spades}

, came on the turn. The river was the {3-Hearts}

and Ramdin was knocked down to just a few thousand.

My Keys Have Gone Missing

James Keys paid $1,250 for each hand he played today. For those of you with dubious maths (yes, it's maths not math because it's short for mathematics) that's two hands. And one of those was {K-?}

in the big blind.

The other hand saw Keys call a 125 raise in the small blind only for the big blind to make it 450. The original raiser called and so did Keys.

The flop was {8-?}

and Keys led for 825, the big blind made it 2,000 and Keys moved all-in for the rest only to be snapped off by {9-?}

and then brick the board.

Welcome to Event #19, the $2,500 Six-handed No Limit Hold'em tournament. This event will no doubt have all the online short-handed grinders swooning more than if they'd seen a picture of Patrik Antonius eating a piece of toast.

Six-max tournaments are always action packed and provide a real test to one's aggression factor and decision-making skills, and none of that will change today.

The tournament starts at 12pm.
