David Chiu Eliminated in 21st Place ($71,858)

David Chiu - 21st Place
David Chiu - 21st Place
David Chiu raised to 60,000 from under the gun, and Alec Torelli, sitting to Chiu's left, reraised to 152,000. It folded back around to Chiu who made the call, leaving himself about 155,000 behind.

The flop came single-suited -- {9-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}. Chiu announced he was all in, and Torelli made the call. Chiu showed {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for top pair, and Torelli turned over {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} for queens and the diamond draw. The turn was the {8-Diamonds}, giving Torelli his flush and making the {6-Hearts} on the river inconsequential.

Chiu is out, earning $71,858. That hand takes Torelli up over the 2 million-chip mark.

We're down to 20 players.
