Gabor-Gabor Hey - Lellouche Rockets Up

Fabian Gabor pushed all-in over the top of Anthony Lellouche's 5,000 bet on a {9-?} {4-?} {2-?} flop after he had called the Frenchman's original preflop raise to 4,200.

Lellouche made the call with {A-?} {8-?} {2-?} {2-?} for a set and a bad low draw and Gabor turned over {A-?} {K-?} {Q-?} {5-?} for a gutshot wheel draw.

The turn {5-?} was a great card for Lellouche as he was now freerolling the scoop. The river was the {9-?} and Lellouche knocked out Gabor.

Soon after the Frenchman was at it again, getting paid 20,000 on the river of a {K-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} board by Alessio Isaia who mucked when he saw {K-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {J-?} {10-?}.

Lellouche has 175,000.

A Tangy-Tasting River

Matthew Singletary is out after getting his stack in with {A-?} {J-?} {10-?} {10-?} on a {10-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} and was looked up by the underset of Benjamin Tang who held {7-Clubs} {7-Spades} {6-Hearts} {5-Hearts}. The turn was the {2-Hearts} making both houses but the {7-Diamonds} river gave Tang quads for the full pot.

Shulman Does Wheely Good

All-in on the turn of a {2-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} board, Barry Shulman flipped {A-Hearts} {2-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {9-Spades} for a double-gutter and pair of deuces against Fabian Gabor's {A-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {3-Spades} which needed a jack or queen to scoop the high as well.

But the river was the {3-Spades} making Shulman a wheel for the whole pot and leaving Gabor muttering to himself.

Mercier Gone

Roland De Wolfe has knocked out Jason Mercier, the Brit called his all-in on a {J-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {10-Spades} board with {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} and Mercier could only show {A-Spades} {3-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} which could catch on the {8-Spades} turn or {8-Diamonds} river.

Ivey's Back, Momentarily

Phil Ivey came over while being on a break in the other event. He began playing uber-aggressive and potting a few hands back to back. On the first hand, Ivey potted the action to 5,600 and then Matt Lefkowitz went all in for 7,400 total. Ivey made the call with {A-Spades} {K-Hearts} {J-Spades} {7-Clubs}. Lefkowitz held {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {2-Clubs}.

The board ran out {8-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {K-Spades} {4-Spades} and Lefkowitz scooped the pot to move over 16,000. Ivey dropped to 26,200.

On the next hand, Ivey potted the action again. Kirill Rabtsov re-potted the action and then Ivey moved all in. Rabtsov called.

Ivey held {K-Spades} {K-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {3-Clubs} and Rabtsov had {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {2-Spades}.

The board ran out {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {6-Spades} {5-Hearts} to give Mr. Ivey a full house and doubled him back up to 54,800. From there, Ivey was up out of his seat and heading back over to the other event. Lefkowtiz was glad Ivey showed up while Rabtsov didn't enjoy his presence too much.

Bloch Cripples Mercier

Auditioning to be in the Allman Brothers Band.
Auditioning to be in the Allman Brothers Band.
Jason Mercier has been knocked down to a short stack after getting it in with {2-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} against Andy Bloch's {Q-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {J-Hearts} {5-Clubs} on a {A-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} board. Mercier's hand was in OK shape: {Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs} put paid to his hopes and left him with just 6,000 left.

However he managed to double up soon after, scooping Roland De Wolfe with {6-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {5-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} against De Wolfe's {A-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {3-Hearts} on a {K-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {4-Clubs} {A-Spades} {8-Hearts} board.

Richey Doubles; Appleman Way Down

Brett Richey just doubled on a board of {A-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} {4-Spades} holding {A-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {3-Spades}. All of the money went in on the flop and George Danzer was the caller. Danzer's hand was unknown. Richey now has 28,000 chips.

Mickey Appleman started the day as a short stack with only 14,000 chips. He soon tripled up and then busted two players shortly after to build his stack even more. Taking a gander at his stack now, Appleman is sitting on only 6,000 chips.

Binger Out

No Binkage For Binger
No Binkage For Binger
Michael Binger has been knocked out by Kirill Rabatov, after all the money went in on a {9-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} {2-Hearts} flop. Binger held {A-Hearts} {J-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} but was in hot water against {A-Spades} {J-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {9-Spades}. The turn and river came {5-Clubs} and {4-Diamonds} and Binger found himself scooped and out of the tournament.
