Jacked Up

Jack Powell moved up to about 280,000 after a short stack pushed preflop and another stack moved in behind. Powell moved in with {J-?} {J-?}, admitting afterwards, "I didn't really want to call."

He was up against {A-?} {Q-?} and probably felt quite relieved when he flopped quads!

After he told me this story, he raised the next hand from the cutoff to 18,000, only for the cutoff to push for an additional 35,000.

Powell made the call with {Q-Clubs} {J-Clubs} and saw he was against a dominating {A-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}. The board came{Q-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} and Powell was knocked down to 240,000.

Biggest Pot of the Tournament Induces Poker Coma

Adam White was sitting on 9,000 a little over an hour ago; he now sits on a staggering 681,000 chips!

At the start of this hand he had 331,000 and raised it to 15,000 from mid position. Dung Ho, in the small blind, three bet to 45,000. White then four bet it to 145,000, and Ho moved all in. White snap-called with {A-?} {A-?}. Ho was in deep trouble with {A-?} {Q-?}.

The board came {8-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {10-Spades} {7-Clubs}. The stacks were so big a floor person had to come over to count them down. It took over five minutes to do this, and all that while Ho sat there in shock with his mouth open. Eric Mizrachi commented that he was in a "poker coma".

After the count, he was left with 60,000 chips but soon got them in with ace-ten only to be busted by a player who call with pocket sevens.

Mizrachi Doubles

Eric Mizrachi has doubled up from micro-stack to short stack, he's on 50,000 after pushing blind and finding he actually held {A-?} {7-?} but was called by {A-?} {Q-?}.

No matter, a {7-?} on the flop helped him out. It's an easy game.

N00bed!

Jamie 'Thenew' Robbins has been busted out by bracelet winner Dan Heimiller, the money going in on a {10-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} board. Robbins held {Q-Clubs} {10-Clubs}, but ran into {A-Diamonds} {A-Clubs}, failing to catch neither queen nor ten on the {J-Hearts} turn or {5-Hearts} river.

Baker Cooks McNeil

After a late position raise, Calen McNeil reraised all-in from the cutoff. Amanda Baker reraised all-in behind and the original raiser folded. Baker showed {8-Spades} {8-Hearts} to McNeil's {7-Clubs} {7-Diamonds}, holding on a {10-Hearts} {A-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} {6-Spades} board.

Four Way Action

Jeroen Van Dam raised from mid position before a player in the high-jack moved in for 60,500. John Boyrazian then called, as did a player on the button for his last 24,500, and Van Dam came along for the ride for the last of his chips.

The board ran {5-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {3-Spades}, giving Boyrazian the main pot of 235,000 with {8-Hearts} {8-Spades}. The HJ guy is crippled after taking the side pot with {6-Diamonds} {6-Clubs}. Van Dam is down to 160,000 after his {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs} failed to hit and the other player is busted.

AA for A

A player in mid position raised to 15,000 before Jonathan Aguiar shipped it in for 57,000. MP called with {K-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} but was way behind {A-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} of Aguiar. The board came {10-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {5-Hearts} to double Aguiar up to 121,000.
