A Chip and a Chair

This term has been banded around quite a lot in the poker world in reference to the famous Jack Straus story. Well I have good reason to use it again thanks to one Brad MacMillin.

Earlier on he took a bad beat holding pocket fives versus a player with a jack. Some chips went in on {J-?} {5-?} {7-?} board before the rest went in on the turn when a another {J-?} appeared. Macmillin's full house was looking good until a nasty {7-?} appeared on the river to send the pot the other way.

After a count down MacMillin was left with a solitary green chip worth 25. Jump forward a couple of hours and our friend is sitting pretty on more than 6,000 chips. Is it this man's destiny?
