Grundy Busts Froehlich

E-Fro-n Off Course
E-Fro-n Off Course
On the flop of {7-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {Q-Clubs}, all the money went in between Ben Grundy and Eric Froehlich.

Froehlich flipped {A-Spades} {K-Hearts} {J-Clubs} {7-Spades} for a pair and a wrap but Grundy was holding {Q-Hearts} {J-Spades} {10-Spades} {8-Hearts} for top two with a flush draw. The turn was the {9-Hearts} and 'E-fro' was already drawing dead, and the {10-Clubs} river gave Grundy a boat to finish him off.

Dwan Looking for More Action

Tom Dwan just can't get enough action. After reportedly locking in big six-figure bet with Patrik Antonius earlier in the day, Dwan has now locked in Sorel Mizzi for another side bet.

Similar to the Antonius bet, Dwan and Mizzi must win the tournament to win the bet, but with Dwan holding 64,000 compared to Mizzi's 11,000 chips, Dwan has given Mizzi odds. If Dwan wins the tournament then Mizzi pays $30k, but if Mizzi can stage a remarkable comeback to win then he'll pocket $190k from Dwan.

"That's so degen!" laughed Yevgeniy Timoshenko.

"You better gamble that shit up!" commented David Williams from the same table, obviously looking to grab some easy chips!

Lindgren Busts A Player

On the turn of a {A-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {9-Spades} {7-Clubs} board Erick Lindgren set in his opponent who eventually called with {A-Spades} {2-?} {4-?} {5-?} but was drawing just the wheel when Lindgren turned over a totally dominating {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {8-Spades} {6-Spades}. The river was the {10-Spades} and top set improved a straight for Lindgren, not that he needed it.

Ivey Busto

Phil Ivey looks to have done a disappearing act from the Brasilia room with his customary quick and quiet exit while no-one was looking.

Got a Luske for Life!

Marcel Luske called a bet of 6,500 on a {J-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {8-Spades} board against Eric Froehlich. The river paired with the {9-Hearts} and Froehlich check-called a bet of 15,000 from the Dutchman only to be shown {J-Hearts} {J-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {10-Clubs} for a boat.
