Kitai Makes A Nice Call

Davidi Kitai

John Kabbaj limps in from middle position and Eugene Todd completes from the small blind. Davidi Kitai checked his option.

The flop came {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} and all three players checked.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds}. Todd led out for 135,000, Kitai called and Kabbaj got out of the way.

The river brought the {Q-Diamonds} and Todd bet again, this time for 250,000. Kitai thought for a while and asked the dealer to spread the pot. He continued to think taking a deep breath, and lifting his shades away from his eyes. He made the call and Todd tapped the felt, saying, "Good call."

Kitai turned over {9-Spades} {4-Hearts} for a pair of nines with a four kicker. It was good and he takes the hand.

Kitai - 1,900,000
Todd - 440,000
