Medic Crippled

After a flop of {J-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} Nenad Medic checked from under the gun and Billy Kop bet out 14,700. Medic called.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} . Again Medic checked-called a bet from Kopp, this time for 39,600.

The river brought the {3-Hearts} and Medic checked for a third time. Kopp moved all in for 43,200 and Medic called him down.

Kopp showed {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} and Medic mucked his hand.

Billy Kopp - 258,000
Nenad Medic - 18,500

Kamberis Fades Rousso

Alex Kamberis raised it up from the cutoff seat, and Vanessa Rousso came along from the small blind.

On a flop of {Q-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}, Kamberis ended up getting all in for about 45,000 total. Rousso had the covering stack and a big hand with {Q-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds}. Kamberis' {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs} was ahead, but he was at risk of elimination if he couldn't fade Rousso's outs.

The turn {A-Hearts} was a good card, and the {9-Hearts} on the river was safe as well. AJKHoosier has picked up a double, sitting now with 96,500 to Rousso's 46,200.

Hopkins Out-Paired

Small blind/big blind wars are becoming a recurring theme here today, and we join another one in progress on Table 62. Tony Cousineau held {Q-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} in the small blind, and Greg Hopkins got all in with {8-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} from the big, in bad shape to stay alive.

Board: {5-Hearts} {10-Spades} {3-Spades} {J-Hearts} {9-Spades}. No good for Hopkins; he has been eliminated. Cousineau moved up to 118,000.

Nenad Medic vs. Alex Jacob

Alex Jacob raised from the cutoff to 7,200 and Nenad Medic made the call from the small blind. The flop came {A-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} {2-Hearts} and Medic check called a 11,000 bet from Jacob.

The turn brought the {7-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and Medic led out for 26,800. Jacob tanked for about two minutes before quietly saying "I call."

Medic flipped over {A-Diamonds} {10-Spades} for two pair and Jacob mucked his hand. After the hand, defending champion Nenad Medic moves to 160,000.
