Halioua Takes Out Hiatt

Michel Halioua just eliminated Sam Hiatt over at Table #246. Hiatt was all in with Q-10 against Halioua's pocket sixes, and was fine after the first four community cards: K-Q-8-2. But a six on the river gave Halioua a set, and now they are four-handed.

Halioua maintains the chip lead there with more than 150,000 now, with David Williams second with about 100,000.

Wan Out

Lep-Ki Wan was short returning from the dinner break, and he has just become our first elimination since play resumed, leaving Table #248 six-handed.

We're Back

Cards are in the air. We currently have three tables at five-handed, two at six-handed, two more at seven-handed, and one table -- Table #247 -- where all eight original players still have chips.

Pechac Punches Out

A short-stacked James Pechac just went out, eliminated by Ronald Witteles. Pechac was all in before the flop with {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades} against Witteles' {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. The board came {8-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs}, and they are now down to six players on Table #243.

Shlez Out, Ponzio on the Move

Preflop action had left Vadim Shlez with only two blue (100) chips left against Ben Ponzio and a short-stacked Diego Cordovez. The flop came {10-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, at which point the last of Shlez's chips went in. When all was said and done, Ponzio turned over {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for the nut flush, and Shlez is out.

Ponzio is the leader at his six-handed table with 113,000.
