The action on the hand was unknown as we arrived with only the final board and Peter Feldman's cards displayed on the table while the dealer was counting down Feldman's chips to give the other player a count. Feldman held on a board of to make a flush.
Paul Testud raised to 8,500 before Antonio Esfandiari reraised to 25,000. Testud then moved all in for about 40,000 total and Esfandiari made the call.
Testud held , but was dominated by Antonio's .
The board ran out to eliminate Testud from the tournament. Esfandiari moved up to 196,000 chips on the hand. This was also his second elimination of an opponent since returning from the dinner break.
With 12,400 chips, Roy Winston had only one move. When action folded to his button, he open-raised all in. The big blind called with , two live cards against Winston's . He hit both of his live cards on a board of to send Winston to the rail.
On one of the first post-bubble hands, Peter "Nordberg" Feldman called the all-in raise of a player on his right. That player showed to Feldman's but prompltly flpped the nuts , to leave Feldman drawing dead.
One player raised to 7,000 before another player reraised to 20,000. A third player on the button called and then a fourth player reraised all in for 26,000 total. All three of the other players called.
The flop came down . and everyone checked. The turn brought the and everyone checked again. The river was the and the first of the remaining three players, the player that originally opened to 7,000 preflop, bet 20,000. The other two players folded.
The all-in player tabled pocket aces, for flopped top set. His only opponent left showed to complete the straight to the queen. The player with the aces was busted on the bubble and all the remaining players are now in the money.
We still don't have our bubble boy but Lee Markholt has more chips now. We saw him involved in a big pot with Tim Horan. On a board of and with bout 50,000 chips already in the middle, Markholt bet 19,000. Horan called, then mucked in disappointment when Markholt showed for a club flush.
That loss knocked Horan back to 122,000; Markholt is up to approximately 110,000.
