Fisler Fizzles Out

Ryan Fisler - Eliminated
Ryan Fisler - Eliminated
We join a hand in progress after the second draw. Ryan Fisler put out a bet, and his lone opponent, Abe Mosseri raised it up. Fisler called the extra bet, and both men stood pat for the last draw. Mosseri made one more bet, and Fisler called.

Mosseri turned over 7-6-5-3-2, and his seventy-six took down the pot and took Fisler down to his last 12,000.

A couple hands later, Fisler opened a pot with an under-the-gun raise. Masayoshi Tanaka reraised, and Fisler moved all in for 14,000. Tanaka called to put Fisler on the ropes. Each player would draw two cards the whole way with the exception of Tanaka taking just one on the final round.

After his last draw, Fisler tabled his cards: 6-5-4-3-2. Straights are good, but not in this game. Tanaka could only make a jack-ten low, but it was plenty good to take down the pot and send Ryan Fisler out in 17th place.
