Pan Felled by Feldman's Hammer

Peter Feldman
Peter Feldman
At the start of Level 17, Qinghai Pan had attempted to raise from under the gun, but hadn't accounted for the change in the blinds. Thus the chips he had put out for the raise ended up constituting a call. It folded around to Peter Feldman in the small blind who completed, and the big blind checked.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades}, and the betting between Feldman and Pan resulted in the latter being all in with {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. Feldman's hand? You guessed it. The mighty {2-Spades}{7-Spades}.

The turn was the {A-Spades} and the river the {6-Hearts}, and Pan is out in 35th place, earning $19,453. Feldman is up over 600,000 now.
