Seated over in the red section are Dutch Boyd, Yuval Bronshtein, Dario Minieri, and Mohsin Charania. Not that big of a deal, right? Well, they're all at the same table. Boyd, Bronshtein, and Minieri are occupying seats one through three, while Charania is in seat eight.
On a flop of , Minieri fired a bet of 1,300 into his lone opponent Charania. He was called.
The turn brought the and Minieri bet out 3,100 this time. Again, Charania made the call.
The river came the and both players checked. Charania opened up and Minieri mucked his hand.
Josh Schlein has taken a hit after being caught with his hand in the cookie jar. After calling a preflop raise, Schlein fired 575 into the middle on a flop. He found one fold and one call.
The turn brought the and both players checked before the landed on the river. The action was again checked to Schlein who released 875 into the middle. His opponent thought for a moment and made the call.
Schlein tabled for a busted straight draw that left him with just six-high. His opponent then revealed for a great call down. Schlein slips to 26,000.
After a flop of , Tom Hall led out with a bet of 550 from the small blind, and his opponent on the button called. The turn was the . Hall bet 1,200, and again got the call.
The river brought the . Hall again bet, 1,600 this time, to which his opponent responded with a raise to 4,500. Hall thought a moment, then made the call.
The player on the button showed for the flopped set, and Hall mucked. After gathering some chips during the first part of the first hour, Hall is back at 28,100 now.
Folded to him, 2008 Main Event runner-up Ivan Demidov opens with a button raise to 300, only the big blind would come along.
The flop would bring . The big blind check-raised Demidov's continuation bet of 450 to 1500 total. Demidov made the call. The turn fell the . Once again Mr. Big Blind would check it over to Ivan, who then bet 2,325, call. River . After another check, Demidov would think it over for a minute before betting 5,000. The big blind insta-called.
Demidov tables , but his opponent quickly slammed his down on the table in all its glory (maybe it was a little flashy since the ESPN cameras were filming).
Adam Friedman raised to 250 and received a call from the cutoff, only for the small blind to make it 1,200 to go. Friedman and Mr. Cutoff both called, and they saw a flop.
Flop:
The small blind now checked and so did Friedman. Mr. Cutoff now bet 2,000 and Mr. Small Blind gave it up, but Friedman called once more.
Friedman checked again on the turn -- but this time he folded when Mr. Cutoff bet 3,500.
We caught the action on a board of with Brian Lemke firing a bet of 1,175 from the button. His opponent in the small blind made the call, before leading out for 1,200 on the river.
Lemke sighed and made the call with his . It was good as his opponent mucked. Lemke is at 32,000 chips.
