Turner Hits the Rail

Jon "PearlJammed" Turner moved all in for his last 1,400 from middle position and got called in three places.

The table checked the board of {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} all the way to the river when the button finally led out for 2,000. His two other opponents folded and he showed {K-Hearts}{10-Spades} for two pair, besting Turner's {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

Madrid Puts His Gloves On

Former professional boxer Kili Madrid raised to 1,100 from middle position. Eli Elezra called from the button, and the small blind came along as well. Three handed then, the flop showed up {8-Spades} {4-Hearts} {2-Clubs}. The small blind checked, and Madrid continued out with a bet of 1,900. Elezra ducked out, but the small blind decided to check-raise to 5,200. Madrid then re-raised all in, and his lone opponent finally surrendered his hand.

Madrid flashed {K-Hearts} {5-Hearts} for the airball as he raked in the pot. "Now you're crazy man," said Elezra with a big grin. "I'm crazy! I'm crazy!" Madrid said. He was a perfect 8-0 in his pro boxing career, and he's 1-0 on bluffs so far today.

A Strange Hand for Mizzi

Sorel Mizzi from Day 1A
Sorel Mizzi from Day 1A
Sorel Mizzi made it 1,050 to play from the hijack and got called by the big blind.

Action checked to Mizzi on a flop of {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and he led for 1,625. His opponent check-raised to 3,250 and the dealer put the {Q-Clubs} on the turn before Mizzi had a chance to act. The floor was called and the {Q-Clubs} was pulled from the board, giving Mizzi the chance to make the call.

When the new turn card brought the {5-Hearts}, the big blind led for 4,000 and Mizzi folded. He's down to 54,000.

Good Fold?

A player in late position raised to 1,500 and was called by big blind Beth Shak. Both players checked the {8-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {A-Spades} flop. Shak bet 4,000 when the turn came {7-Clubs} and induce a face-up fold of {Q-?} {Q-?} from her opponent.

Shak is up to 36,000.

Vengrin Goes Backward

On a flop of {J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, the big blind led out for 2,100 and Matt Vengrin called from the button. The turn brought the {8-Diamonds} and a 3,600 bet from the big blind. Vengrin raised to 6,700 and got the call.

When the {6-Diamonds} hit the river, the big blind led for 12,000 and Vengrin gave up the hand.

Bang! Bang! Turn and River for Nikolay

Nikolay Evdakov got all in with his opponent on a flop of {10-Spades} {9-Spades} {8-Diamonds}. Evdakov held {K-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}, but was well behind the {7-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} of his opponent.

The turn brought the {10-Clubs} and shed some light on Evdakov's hand, needing some runner-runner held on the hand. The river card was then the {10-Diamonds}, completing the boat for Nikolay and giving him a runner-runner full house to double up to 60,000.
