Dennis Phillips and his opponent saw a {9-Hearts} {8-Spades} {4-Hearts} flop and Phillips bet out 21,000. Over to his opponent, and he moved all in for 58,000 total.

Phillips counted out the call, and then went into the tank as a Wall Of Media closed in on the table. Phillips continued to dwell, until the TV crew looked indescribably bored. Then he folded.

"Pocket tens," he said, as the Wall Of Media crumbled away into the Amazon Room. "You had to have me beat."

Phillips drops to 180,000.

Gerasimov Gone

After recently doubling, Kirill Gerasimov has now been dispatched to the rail.

Catching the action on the {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop, Gerasimov led out for 25,100, only to be reraised all in by Dutch Boyd.

Gerasimov made the call holding {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades} to be ahead of Boyd's straight-draw of {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

Disaster would fall on the turn for Gerasimov when it landed the {J-Diamonds}, and when the meaningless river fell the {7-Diamonds}, Gerasimov hit the rail as Boyd climbed to over 200,000 in chips.

A very large crowd is now gathering around tables 102 and 108 in the red section. At table 102, Phil Ivey occupies the eight seat and has around 380,000. Then, right next door we have Phil Hellmuth, who is also sitting nice with 320,000. They have a total of 18 bracelets between the two of them. If you're looking for some star power, then the Red Amazon section is the place to be.

Raymer Can't Fade the Ace

"All in and call on 165!" rang out a dealer's voice. We came over to see Greg Raymer's {K-Hearts} {K-Spades} trying to take out a short stack's {A-Hearts} {4-Diamonds}. He wasn't able to do it as the board ran out {8-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {5-Spades}. With a disappointed sigh, Raymer paid off 32,900 chips, thereby lowering his own count to about 74,000.

Arrivederci Signor Alioto

A flop of {3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades} brought a bet of 11,000 from the small blind and an all in shove of 41,000 from Dario Alioto in the cutoff. Dario got the call and and was looking for help.

Opponent: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

When the board finished {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, Alioto's day was done and he headed for the rail.

Gerasimov Doubles

Catching the action on the {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, Kirill Gerasimov found himself all in holding {J-Spades}{J-Hearts} to his opponent's {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

The turn and river ran out running fours to see Gerasimov double through to over 100,000 in chips.

Double-Up Very Good for Lieu

A player raised to 4,200 from early position, and Liz Lieu reraised to 13,000 behind him. It folded back around, and the original raiser asked Lieu how much she had left -- exactly 9,800.

He counted out enought chips to reraise and put Lieu all in. "It's very close," he said. Finally he made the call, turning over {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. Lieu tabled {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}.

"Best I could hope for," he said. "Oh, you should call," said Lieu as she removed her earbuds and leaned forward.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. "Good," nodded Lieu.

The turn was the {3-Clubs}. "Good," she repeated, still nodding.

The river was the {2-Hearts}. "Very good," said Lieu as she replaced her earbuds.

Lieu survives with just under 50,000.

Sammy would need any heart or a ten to stay alive. The river fell the {5-Diamonds} and Farha is out.

The action was checked down to the river with the board reading {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} to see the all in player table {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}.

Ulliott tabled his {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}, but it would be Wilf's {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} that would best both players as he raked in the pot to chip back over 300,000 as Ulliott slipped to just over 100,000 in chips.
