Another Suckout Busts Jackson

The chips were all in preflop with Raul Mestre taking his {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} up against the {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} of Robert Jackson.

Jackson appeared set for a double up on the flop of {K-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{J-Hearts}, but the {8-Hearts} spiked on the turn to give Mestre the two-outer. The river was the {5-Diamonds} and the suckouts continue here in the early goings of Day 4 action as Jackson made the long trek out of the Rio.

The Sober Kind

Andy Black summoned a cocktail server to Blue #1.

"A tequila sunrise for this gentleman here," said Black, pointing at Ben Jensen seated to his left. Jensen looked up in surprise.

"No, that's just my joke," continued Black with a grin. "Just a bottle of water please."

Black's request prompted someone else at the table to quip, "What kind of Irishman are ya?"

The cocktail server said, "Right. One tequila sunrise coming up!" and left the table.

Fields Of Glory?

Andy 'Little Big Chip' Fields has trebled up after getting {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds} and getting called in two spots by {4-Hearts} {4-Spades} and Kelly Kim's {5-Spades} {5-Hearts}. The board of {7-Clubs} {2-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {2-Clubs} sufficed and Fields is now over 100,000.

Chinni Pays The Bilz

Dan Bilzerian was all in for his last 67,500 with {9-Clubs} {8-Clubs} and got called by Jesse Chinni's {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs} the flop of {Q-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} looked to mean curtains for Bilzerian but the {8-Spades} turn and {9-Hearts} river meant a running two pair allowed him to survive.

Ivey In Action Early On

It didn't take Phil Ivey long to get started.

In the day's first hand, he called a preflop raise by Bernard Perner and went heads up to a flop of {10-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{A-Clubs}. Perner put in a continuation of 16,500 and Ivey called.

The turn brought the {3-Diamonds}, a bet of 27,500 and another call by Ivey. When Perner checked the {9-Diamonds} on the river, Ivey bet 50,000 and took the pot.

Two Birds, One Stone

And the bustouts begin. On the first hand of the day, we had two players all in and a call at one table.

Before the flop, Dean Schultz was all in for his last 22,000 with {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, Billy Adams was all in for his last 30,400 with {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, and Matthew Lubawski had both covered while holding {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}.

The board came {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, and Lubawski's hand was best. Schultz and Adams hit the rail, and Lubawski is up to 305,000.
