Presto Good for Hachem

Peter Eastgate made it 12,500 to play from early position and Joe Hachem came along. Both players then checked down the entire board, which ran {K-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. When Hachem turned over {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}, Eastgate mucked.

J.C. Tran Doubles His Short Stack

Just a few hands after doubling up Jordan Smith, J.C. Tran finds his spot to get some back.

Mark Weil raised to 10,500 and Tran moved all in for 41,000. Action folded back around to Weil who took his time before making the call.

Weil: {A-Diamonds} {7-Clubs}
Tran: {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades}

The board came {8-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {10-Spades} {2-Spades} allowing Tran's hand to hold. He doubles up and moves to just under 90,000

Hensel Sets Up To Double

Reed Hensel was all in preflop for his last chips with {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and was racing against the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} of Randy Crow.

The race was short-lived as the flop fell {6-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{2-Hearts} to give Hensel a set of jacks. The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and river the {5-Spades} and Hensel doubles to 245,000 with Crow slipping to 100,000.

Molloy Needs Another Ten

John Monnette opened the pot with a raise to 10,500 from early position. Action came around to Denise Molloy, and she moved all in for a total of 57,000. Monnette instantly called with {A-Diamonds} {A-Spades}, and Molloy's {10-Spades} {10-Diamonds} figured to be her last hand of the day.

The flop tripped up both players, coming {A-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} to leave Molloy dead to one out. "Oh wow," she said, shaking her head. "I need another ten." The turn came the blank {3-Clubs} as the ESPN cameras closed in on the table. "Ten of clubs," pleaded Molloy. And wouldn't you know it, the {10-Clubs} struck the river like a thunderbolt, drawing a big celebration from Molloy. She paced around the table yelling, "Oh my god! Quads! I had one out!" With that miracle one-outer, Molloy doubles her way up to 120,000, now just slipping ahead of Monnette.
