Tavelli Finds a Call

Just before the break:

Warren Zackey opened with a raise to 125,000, and three players came along to the flop. It showed up {Q-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {6-Hearts}, and all four players check-checked the action. Fourth street came the {7-Diamonds}, and Ian Tavelli led out for 300,000. James Akenhead was the lone caller as the other two players ducked out of the way.

The last card off was the {10-Diamonds}, and Tavelli fired another 600,000. Akenhead would go deep into the tank as the break clock ticked down. It would be several more minutes of staring and chit-chat before a decision was made, and Akenhead eventually slammed the calling chips onto the felt.

Tavelli tabled {6-Spades} {6-Clubs} for the little full house, and Akenhead could only throw his arms up in the air and shake his head. The pot goes to Tavelli, chipping him up to 5,200,000.
