Checking in on the Team

As we move into the last level of the night, the fortunes of players are starting to become a little clearer. Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu has more than doubled his starting stack and seems to be playing well at his table. His fellow Team PokerStars Pro Barry Greenstein has had less fortune and is struggling to stay afloat. Greenstein, at least is still in the tournament. That's better than Geg Raymer and Chad Brown, both of whom have already been eliminated.

Brown's elimination was particularly unfortunate. He was all in by fourth street with {k-Clubs} {k-Diamonds} / {q-Hearts} {j-Spades}. Brown's opponent, however had started {a-Clubs} {a-Diamonds} / {j-Clubs} {5-Hearts}. Brown improved to kings and jacks by the river, but his opponent made aces and threes on sixth street to take a hammer-lock on the hand.
