Been With a Queen

Aaron Been opened to 250 in middle position and the action folded to a player in the big blind who three-bet to 750. Been called and the two saw a flop of {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

Both players checked and the {4-Diamonds} turned. The player in the big blind led for 750 and Been called.

The river brought the {4-Clubs} and the player in the big blind checked to Been who bet 400. The player in the big blind called and mucked when Been tabled {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Been is now sitting with 7,000 chips.

Williams Slips

Jeff "yellowsub86" Williams opened to 250 from early position and a player on the button and a player in the big blind called.

The flop fell {10-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and the action checked to the player on the button who bet 400. The player in the big blind folded and Williams called.

Both players checked the {4-Diamonds} on the turn and the {2-Clubs} came on the river. Williams led for a bet and his opponent called.

Williams rolled over {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a pair of tens, but his opponent showed {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and won the pot.

The hand dropped Williams' stack to 2,050 chips.

2-4-6-8 Who Do We Appreciate!

The board says that so far we have 2,468 entrants for today, eclipsing both of the previous $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em bracelet events this series.

There are still 45 minutes left in Level 2 though, meaning there are 45 more minutes of registration for the event. We expect the field to continue to grow rapidly until the end of the level.

"Quick Day"

When we arrived at Adam "Roothlus" Levy's table, the board read {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts}. Levy was short and quickly got his chips in the middle and was called.

Levy: {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}
Opponent: {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

The {6-Spades} on the river did not give Levy a better full house, and he hit the rail.

"Quick day," Levy joked to his table.

Sands Sinks

After Grayson Ramage raised to 150 under the gun, Dave "Doc Sands" Sands re-raised to 525 from UTG+1. The player on the button four-bet to 1,300 and action folded to Sands.

He thought for a few moments before committing the rest of his stack, about 2,500. His opponent called and tabled {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}, having Sands' {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} in bad shape.

The board rolled out {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and Sands was sent to the rail just before the start of Level 2.

Cada Takes One Off Boatman

Barny Boatman raised to 150 from the cutoff and Joe Cada called from the big blind. Each checked the {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Spades} flop, landing the {9-Hearts} on the turn. Cada bet 275 and was quickly called by Boatman.

The {Q-Clubs} fell on the river and Cada bet 700. Boatman called instantly, but mucked when Cada turned over {K-Spades}{J-Spades} for the staight.

Cada is up to 6,000 while Boatman slips to 3,500.

Morrison Sits, Raises Then Folds

Kirk Morrison has entered the tournament area and upon sitting down he immediately raised to 150.

Two players called and the flop fell {6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Action checked to a player in late position who fired 400. The other opponent folded and Morrison sweated his cards one last time before folding with a devilish grin.

His opponent tabled {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the nuts. Hopefully, for Mr. Morrison's sake, this wont be a trend.

Amazon Room

About 20 tables are being used in the Amazon room at the moment. Among the recognizable faces were Mike Matusow, Ted Lawson, and Jeremiah Smith.

There are 25 more tables set up for late registrants, so we expect a few more notable names to show up in the field in the next hour.
