Day 1b Started

Day 1B of Event #13 Set to Begin

The 2010 World Series of Poker continues today with Day 1b of Event #13, the second $1,000 no-limit hold'em event of the series. Yesterday, Day 1A attracted 1,922 players and a similar number is expected for today's tournament.

Plenty of recognizable faces were in the field yesterday including: Tom McEvoy, Allen Cunningham, Kathy Liebert, "Miami" John Cernuto, and Victor Ramdin. Along with these pros were hundreds of amateurs looking to take their shot at a gold bracelet and a hefty payday.

Play is expected to begin in about ten minutes and you can be sure that PokerNews will be here every step of the way, providing you with the most extensive coverage live from the floor of the Pavilion at the 2010 World Series of Poker.
