Jonathan Tare Eliminated in 17th Place ($16,919)

Jonathan Tare eliminated in 17th place
Jonathan Tare eliminated in 17th place

Jonathan Tare moved all in from under the gun for his last 203,000 and was called by Matthew Vance from the button.

Tare: {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Vance: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The flop of {K-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} gave Tare an additional two outs, but the {10-Clubs} on the turn would end all of Tare's hopes as the meaningless {8-Spades} landed on the river.

For his efforts, Tare is collecting $16,919 for his 17th place as Vance climbs up to 1,500,000 in chips.

David Hong Eliminated in 18th Place ($16,919)

The remaining players were to redraw seats and combine to two tables after Dalton Dawkin's elimination; however, there was still one hand that needed to be completed before that could happen.

After action had foled around, David Hong moved all in from the button and was called by Nicholas Heather. Hong showed {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and was ahead of Heather's {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}.

That all changed when the flop came {J-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Suddenly Hong was behind and needed help. The turn was the {9-Spades} and Hong was needed an king on the river to stay alive. It was not meant to be as the {7-Diamonds} came on the river.

Hong was eliminated in 18th place for a $16,919 as the remaining players will now combine down to two table.

Baker Pushes, Dawkins Calls

David Baker raised to 48,000 under the gun and was reraised by Dalton Dawkins to 148,000. When action folded back to Baker, he moved all in.

Baker had Dawkins, who had 255,000 behind, covered. Dawkins thought for awhile before announcing, "Call."

Baker turned over {Ah]{K-Diamonds} and was racing against Dawkin's {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}. The spectators around the rail leaned is as the flop came down {5-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. Dawkins held on to the lead, but it was short lived as the {A-Clubs} hit the turn.

Dawkins seemed to know that he was toast, as he began to rise even before the {5-Diamonds} hit the river. Dawkins was eliminated in 19th place.
