Forrest Chopped Down Some More

Ashton Griffin: (X)(X) / {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{10-Clubs} / (X)
Allie Prescott: (X)(X) / {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs} / (X)
Ted Forrest: (X)(X) / {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs} / (X)

Griffin bet out with his new jacks on fourth and both Prescott and Forrest called. On fifth, Griffin bet and was all in for 1,500. Prescott called and then Forrest raised. Prescott called that as well, creating a side pot. On sixth, Prescott and Forrest both checked. On seventh, Prescott bet and Forrest called.

First the side pot was up for grabs. Prescott tabled the {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and held a low. Forrest held the high with the {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}. In the main pot, Prescott's low was still good and Griffin won the high when he tabled the {J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and had a jack-high straight.

Griffin was able to stay alive and now has 4,600 chips. Forrest was knocked down to 4,600 and Prescott moved to 19,000.

"Jacks full???" said Forrest with a very puzzled look on his face. His opponent then tabled the {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for jacks full of deuces. Forrest mucked and was left with 8,200.

Feel my powah
Feel my powah

Tony G just took a seat behind his stack, which had been blinded down to 22,000 over the last 4 1/2 levels. The G had a pretty good excuse for his tardiness - he just won a tournament at the Wynn for a $270,000 score!
