Childs Climbing

After Francois Billard limped from early position, all players passed to Lee Childs in the big blind. Childs raised to 1,800 and was called by Billard. On a flop of {2-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {6-Spades} Childs had first action and bet 4,100. Billard called.

Both players checked the {7-Diamonds} turn. When the river came {6-Diamonds}, Childs checked again. Billard bet 7,000, then called a check-raise to 20,000. Childs turned over {7-Spades} {7-Clubs}, having turned a set of sevens. They were good.

Childs is now up to 86,000.
