Heart-Stopper

J.C. Tran just won a hand in which he'd drawn one card, then took the pot down with an unanswered bet. He then laughed, sharing with the table his mistake on the hand.

Apparently he'd been dealt a pair of sevens originally -- the {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} -- along with three other hearts. He then accidentally tossed the {7-Diamonds} rather than the {7-Hearts}, thus setting himself up potentially to complete a flush. Luckily he didn't, although he said how he felt a bit anxious once he realized he'd discarded the wrong seven.

That crisis averted, Tran still is sitting with a below average stack of 22,000.
