"My name is Dr. Kamikaze for a reason!" said Chisholm afterwards, her nick a play on her first name. She's now up toward the top of the chip counts with 174,000.
Just 40 players left. La Sengphet remains in front, followed by Sidsei Boesen and the fast-charging Kami Chisholm.
Kami Chisholm -- a.k.a. Dr. Kamikaze -- has claimed another victim, this time Lacey Jones.
Jones was all in for her last 30,000 or so with and once again Chisholm was starting out behind with

Dang would hit the rail shortly thereafter.
Kami Chisholm was just involved in yet another decent-sized hand, this one against Diane Gagne.
The hand began with Gagne opening for 12,000 from UTG. It folded around to Chisholm who raised enough from the big blind to put Gagne all in, and Gagne called with her remaining 23,000.
Chisholm had this time, and was ahead of Gagne's
. The board ran out eight-high, and Gagne is out. Chisholm has now crossed the 300,000-chip mark and is challenging La Sengphet for the chip lead.
Yu Kurita opened with a raise from the hijack seat, and it folded to Melissa Nelson who reraised all in for 16,700 more from the big blind. Kurita called, tabling . Nelson flipped over

The flop was , pairing Nelson's queen. But the turn and river both brought kings --

Kurita moves up to 155,000.
The table folded to Svetlana Gromenkova, winner of this event at the 2008 World Series of Poker, who raised all in for 28,500 from the button, and Lisa Teebagy called her from the big blind. Cards on their backs...

Gromenkova
The flop brought Gromenkova a pair of sixes, but the

, and Gromenkova is out. Teebagy now has 75,000.
Linda Johnson's quest for a second WSOP bracelet has ended. She'd slipped some during this Level 16, and found herself needing to push all in from the hijack seat with , and Loren Watterworth called her from the button with
.
The community cards came , and Watterworth's hand was best. Johnson hits the rail, and we are now down to just 30 players.
Evelyn Ng, down to about 24,000, pushed all in from the button, and Timmi Derosa called from the big blind.
Ng showed , and needed help versus Derosa's
