Just before the break, Greg DeBora was crippled in a pot against JJ Liu. The board showed , and the two players capped the betting on the river, both of them turning up queen-jack. The only problem for DeBora was that Liu's queen-jack was , and a straight flush is hard to beat.
That put DeBora down to just 100 lonely chips on the last hand before the break, and he has been relieved of that remainder here on the first hand back.

We noticed a big hunk of David Webb's chips missing, and Dutch Boyd had a peculiarly big stack, so we asked the two men what happened.
Webb held king-jack against Dutch Boyd's ace-king, and there was understandably heavy action on the flop of . The turn was a rag, but the river gave Boyd the bigger full house and the double up to about 75,000. Webb had the chips to take a hit like that; he's still right around 100,000.
Matt Hawrilenko opened to 2,000 from the cutoff only to have Jason Sanders bump it to 3,000 from the big blind. Hawrilenko made it 4,000 to go only to have Sanders cap it at 5,000 with Hawrilenko making the call.
Hawrilenko saw his last 1,300 enter the pot on the flop of with Sanders making the call.

JC Tran opened to 2,000 from the cutoff and Mclean Karr three-bet to 3,000 from the big blind with Tran making the call.
Karr checked the flop to see Tran fire out 1,000 only to have Karr check-raise to 2,000. Tran called, and once Karr checked the on the turn, Tran fired out 2,000. Karr called and then check-called for 2,000 again when the river landed the .
Tran tabled his and took down the pot to climb to 65,000 as Karr slipped to 20,000 in chips.
Justin Young opened to 2,000 only to have Vitaly Lunkin three-bet to 3,000 from the cutoff.
Eduardo Miranda made the call, as did Young to see a {8s] flop fall.
Lunkin's 1,000-chip bet was called by both players, as was his 2,000-chip bet when the fell on the turn.
The was checked down on the river with Lunkin tabling his to take down the pot and climb to 49,000 as Young and Miranda slip to 38,000 and 48,000 respectively.
Jason Saunders opened to 2,000 from the cutoff only to have Matt Glantz three-bet from the button to 3,000.
Saunders made the call and then check-called for 1,000 on the flop before the landed on the turn and Glantz's 2,000-chip bet was again check-called by Saunders.
The river landed the and after another Saunders check, Glantz fired out 2,000 out of his last 2,300 to find a call from Saunders.
Glantz tabled is and raked in the pot to move to 17,800 in chips.
Brian Horton raised in middle position, and Dutch Boyd called from the small blind to take a flop.
It came down , and Boyd check-called a bet from Horton. The action repeated on the turn, and Boyd checked again on the river. This time Horton checked it back, and he mucked when Boyd tabled his . Two pair moves Dutch up to 32,000.
