Tommy Hang entered the pot with a raise under the gun to 6,000 only to have Brian Horton three-bet to 9,000. Hang moved all in for his last 12,000 and Horton made the call.
Hang:
Horton:
The board ran out to see Hang double to 28,500 courtesy of his flopped full house while Horton slips to 80,000 in chips.
David Webb opened to 6,000 from under the gun only to have Dutch Boyd bump it to 9,000.
Both players put in 15,000 to see a flop fall and Boyd fire out 3,000. Webb made the call, and then called 6,000 when the turn delivered the .
Boyd fired out again on the river when it landed the and after deliberating for a few moments, Webb passed while slipping to 21,000 as Boyd climbs to 85,000 in chips.
"I only have 7,700 left!" stated an excited Chuck 'danzasmack' Danielsson as the dealer began dealing out the last hand before break.
Sitting in the big blind with 2,500 committed, Danielsson amazingly got a walk, and then turned over his powerful to rake in the small - but crucial - pot to send him to 9,000 in chips!
Roland Isra limped in under the gun, and Michael Binger raised to two bets from the cutoff seat. Dana Kellstrom called from the small blind, Brian Meinders did the same from the big, and Isra called the extra bet to see a four-way flop.
It came , and Isra led right out with a bet. Binger folded, Kellstrom called, and Meinders snuck in a check-raise. Isra promptly reraised, Kellstrom folded, Meinders re-reraised, and Isra called all in for the remainder of his stack. Got that? The short version is that Isra was at risk, and the cards were on their backs:
Isra: (top pair, bottom kicker)
Meinders: (set of threes)
Isra was drawing to two running cards, and the on the turn was one of them, a good scary sweat with one to come. A meaningless filled out the board, though, the last card Isra will see today. Unless, of course, he takes his payout slip to the blackjack tables.
Dominik Kulicki is the latest victim of this Day 2 after he took his {Ac] up against Tommy Hang's . The flip went poorly for Kulick's overcards as the dealer put out a raggy board of .
We walked back to JJ Liu's table to see her check-raising a flop of . Tommy Hang came right back with a three-bet, and Liu called to see the on the turn. Liu fired out a bet, and Hang flat called, and that reversed on the river with Liu check-calling a Hang bet.
Liu tabled , pocket aces for the second time in just a few hands. This time, however, they had met their match. Hang tabled the two red ones, , and everyone gets their money back.
JJ Liu opened with a middle-position raise, and Dominik Kulicki made the call from the big blind.
He and Liu saw a board of with Kulicki check-calling bets from Liu on each street. After her final bet was called, Liu turned over for aces up. Kulicki simply slid his cards into the muck without a word, sliding down under 20,000 with that loss.
Ms. Liu, on the other hand, is quite healthy with 168,000.
