Basebaldy Battered

Roughly 140,000 chips had found their way into the pot before the {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop, and when we caught up with the action, Eric "basebaldy" Baldwin (small blind) was betting out 91,000 and getting a call from Nicholas Mitchell (big blind).

Baldwin bet out another 122,000 on the {3-Spades} turn and again Mitchell called. The action rather slowed down on the {j-Diamonds} river, though. Both players checked, and Mitchell revealed {A-Spades}{4-Spades}. Baldwin couldn't beat two pair, and dropped into the danger zone on 230,000. Mitchell meanwhile is back up there with the big boys on 1,300,000.
