Jaka Finds Chips Early On

Faraz Jaka has managed to double up in the first few hand and we took a stroll by his table to see him flexing his newfound strength.

A player acting under the gun had raised to 150 with Jaka re-raising to 350 from the cutoff. Action folded to the initial raiser who made the call.

The flop came {10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} and action was checked to Jaka who bet 325 into the pot, getting a call from his opponent. When the {5-Spades} came on the turn, Jaka's opponent check-called again, this time for 800.

The river was the {5-Clubs} and once more action was checked to Jaka, who threw in a bet for about 5,000, getting his opponent to fold.

When the hand was over Jaka flipped up his cards to show {7-}{2-} and his opponent said, "Nice hand," before continuing with "Oh, you were playing the board, too?"
