Big Double for Baekke

It was a classic battle of the blinds when action was folded to Owen Crowe in the small blind. He raised it to 60,000 with Allan Baekke shoving all in for 500,000. Crowe made the call and we were off to the races.

Crowe: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Baekke: {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}

All it took was the flop for Baekke to pull ahead. It came down {6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} giving Baekke top pair, which held through the {4-Clubs} on the turn and the {8-Diamonds} on the river.

With the double, Baekke is now up to 1,020,000 while Crowe is down to 1,320,000.

Pekka Ikonen
Pekka Ikonen

In the small blind, Pekka Ikonen opened the pot with a 60,000-chip raise and Owen Crowe called in the big.

The flop was {7-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs} and both players checked. When the {q-Clubs} hit the felt on the turn, Ikonen fired a 55,000-chip bet and Crowe called.

the river brought a {k-Hearts} to the table and once more, Ikonen lead the pot, he bet 85,000 chips and was called.

Ikonen tabled {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and took the pot.

David Forster Eliminated in 15th Place ($21,986)

David Forster - 15th Place
David Forster - 15th Place

David Forster was in early position when he went all in for 133,000. He was looked up by Allan Baekke in the small blind.

Forster: {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Baekke: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Baekke had Forster crushed from the outset. The flop gave Forster some outs, though, coming {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} but the turn was the {j-Hearts}, leaving Forster drawing extremely thin. The {j-Diamonds} came on the river, and that was it for Forster's day.

Baekke is now up to 470,000.

Crowe Soars

Allan Baekke made it 35,000 to go from under the gun with Owen Crowe making the call from the big blind.

The flop came down {3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and Crowe check-called a bet of 41,000 from Baekke. We were treated to the {10-Clubs} on the turn and this time Crowe led out with a bet of 82,000 with Baekke calling.

The river was the {k-Hearts} and Crowe bet out again, this time for 135,000. Baekke made the call, but mucked when Crowe showed {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

Crowe has soared to 1,900,000 while Baekke is down to just 370,000.

Jason Mann raised to 32,000 from under the gun with Danny Mckinney calling from the big blind.

We saw a flop of {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Mckinney checked to Mann, who bet 24,000. Mckinney then raised with Mann immediately going all in for 218,000, having Mckinney covered. Mckinney made the call and it was time to see some cards.

Mckinney: {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Mann: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Mckinney may have hit top pair, but he was well behind Mann's aces.

The turn brought the {q-Hearts} while the river was the {7-Spades}. McKinney went to collect his winnings while Mann is now up to 470,000.
