Michael Fong Eliminated in 23rd Place ($17,471)

The biggest pot of the tournament so far has slid in Guillaume Darcourt's direction, and it was all in pre-flop on a flip. Michael Fong opened pre-flop for 26,000. Darcourt then made a huge re-raise, to 141,000. Fong put his whole stack of 569,000 at risk with {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Darcourt called, having Fong barely covered, with {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}!

Fong flopped two pair, {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, but the turn and river were also diamonds, the {5-Diamonds} and {k-Diamonds}, to give Darcourt a diamond flush. Dragging that massive pot pushed him up to 1.15 million in chips and sent Fong to the rail in 23rd place.
