A player in middle position had raised to 350 with Dwyte Pilgrim re-raiseing to 1,000. The original raiser then went all in for 4,200 total and Pilgrim made the call.

Pilgrim could hardly have asked for a better flop when it came . The turn was the and the river was the . Pilgrim now has 9,125 chips.
The number on the board spent a little while going up and down and then up again but it now seems to have settled at 1,943. That is a big ol' field for this, the last shot at a bracelet before the Main Event.
We'll let you know if that number gets tweaked any further.
Strolling past PokerNews' own Donnie Peters, we found him raising it up to 400 from the cutoff after the action had folded to him.
The big blind defended as a flop was spread and both players checked it through to see the land on the turn and the big blind led for 450.
Peters made the call as the dealer burned and turned the on the river with the big blind opting for a check this time. Peters paused for a moment before firing out 525 with the big blind making the call.
"Wow!" was all that Peter's opponent could manage when Peters tabled his to begin collecting the pot to move to 8,225 in chips.
On a board reading a player in middle position bet 1,125. He was called by another player before Jeff Madsen went all in for 5,700 total. The initial bettor folded, but the remaining opponent called.

The river was the , and with Madsen missing any of his outs, he was on his way to the rail.
We found recent PLO8 bracelet winner Chris Bell involved in a hand. When we arrived, he and his opponent were at the turn, the board reading .
We're not sure how the action went, but we suspect it may have been a check-raise from Bell - Bell's opponent in early position had a 1,000 bet in front of him, and Bell in the big blind had raised to 2,900. His opponent tanked up for a while but eventually folded, meaning that Bell bumped his stack up to 8,000, a little over what he started with.
We got to Chris Moneymaker's table to see him involved against a single opponent on a board reading . It had looked like Moneymaker had bet 300 and his opponent had raised to about 1,000. Moneymaker called the raise and we were off to the river.
The river came down and Moneymaker bet 1,325 after being checked to. When his opponent called, Moneymaker turned over which was no good against his opponent's .
As always with the late reg. tables, they are stacked beyond belief. As we strolled by one table, we found Men Nguyen, Jon Aguiar, Chris Ferguson and Roberto Romanello all squashed together with a few more getns we didn't recognize.
Having said that, it's a measure of how fast these things go that by the time we'd worked our way back over to the other side of the Pavilion Room, Men Nguyen had moved there as well.
David Williams has taken an early lead at his table. We're not sure what happened, but we arrived just in time to see Williams raking in a pot as his opponent stood to leave, muttering something we think was, "F***ing aces."
