Important Memo: Antes

Table 357 here in the red section apparently didn't get the memo on antes. The ante currently is 100. Table 357 however, has been playing with a 200 ante for the last 15 minutes.

Level: 11

Blinds: 600/1,200

Ante: 100

Baronial Estate

Isaac Baron opened for 2,500 under the gun and got two callers in the hijack and small blind respectively. They saw an {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop and it checked to Baron who now bet 4,500. The hijack folded, and so too did the small blind - the latter showing pocket jacks in the process.

Baron won a hand or two after that as well, and is now flying high on 120,000.

Cherie Costs Another Player Dear

There was a 2,300 raise in mid position before the gentleman in the cutoff shoved for 17,400. On the button, Cherie Beasley re-shoved, forcing the original raiser to fold.

On their backs.

Cutoff Shover: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Beasley: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Board: {2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}

The cutoff headed for the door, and Beasley moved up to 105,000.

De Korver Doubles

Shane Schleger opened to 2,600 from middle position and was met with a move all in from Pieter De Korver on the button. It would cost Schleger 14,600 to call, which he did.

Schleger: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
De Korver: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

De Korver found no help on the {9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{k-Hearts} flop, but the card he was looking for did hit the turn. It was the {a-Diamonds}. There was no eight on the river to give Schleger the KO, instead, the {2-Spades} fell.

De Korver chipped up to 41,000 and Schleger sits at 58,000.

Hoss Trots Off

Matt Hawrilenko shoved for 15,900 in early position and the gentleman in the small blind called all in for just 6,200.

Hawrilenko: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Small blind shortie: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Board: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The player in the small blind spiked a king and doubled to 13,000. Hawrilenko was very firmly in the danger zone on just 8,000 after that, and indeed hit the rail a few hands later.
