Hand #235: Jonathan Duhamel

John Racener has the button.

John Racener hasn't raised a single button yet and doesn't change that pattern here. He calls the big blind and Jonathan Duhamel checks. Both players check a {3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop. They check again after the {q-Diamonds} hits the turn. Duhamel checks a third time on the {4-Diamonds} river, then calls a bet of 2.0 million from Racener. Each player has a pair of fours at showdown, but Duhamel's {k-Hearts}{4-Clubs} out-kicks Racener's {6-Spades}{4-Spades} to drag the pot.

Fourth street is the {10-Diamonds} and Racener checks. Duhamel checks behind.

The {3-Clubs} joins the fun on the river. Racener fires three million. Duhamel makes the call, but mucks when Racener shows the {K-Hearts}{4-Clubs}.

Hand #231: Jonathan Duhamel

John Racener has the button.

With Jonathan Duhamel's fans chanting, "Du-ha-mel! Du-ha-mel!" and Racener's fans responding, "U-S-A! U-S-A!", Racener limps his button again. Duhamel grabs a stack of chips off the top of his mountain and raises to 5.1 million. Racener folds.

Hand #230: John Racener Doubles Up!

Jonathan Duhamel has the button.

He raises all in and John Racener makes the call! He woke up to the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} when Duhamel shoved with the {K-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Racener is all in for 18.25 million.

The entire Penn & Teller Theater is on their feet as the flop comes down {J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, keeping Racener is the lead.

The turn brings the {2-Hearts} and Racener is still in front. Both players have been standing the entire time watching the action. Time for the river.

The river completes the board with the {7-Hearts} and Racener's audience goes nuts for him, both up in the seats and down on the stage.

Racener gives a fist pump as he doubles to 36.9 million.

Hand #229: Duhamel Wins First Showdown

John Racener has the button.

Racener limps in again. Jonathan Duhamel checks the big blind again. They take another unraised flop, this one coming {3-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Duhamel checks again, giving Racener space to bet 1.4 million. Duhamel (who has kicked off the flip-flop shoes he wore to the final table and is now sitting barefoot on the set) calls and checks the {4-Diamonds} turn. Racener also checks.

The river is the {10-Spades}. Duhamel bets 2.8 million, following the familiar pattern set by previous hands in which Racener had the button. This time Racener doesn't snap-muck. He takes 30 seconds before putting in a raise to 6.9 million. Duhamel snap-calls with {j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, two pair, jacks and fours. Racener just pitches his card into the muck.

With that pot, Duhamel has crested the 200-million-chip mark. He has 201,150,000. Racener is down to 18,450,000 and about to get some more bad news: blinds are up next hand.

Hand #227: Jonathan Duhamel

John Racener has the button.

In a recurring theme, Racener limps his button and Jonathan Duhamel checks the big blind. Duhamel also checks a paired flop, {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}, then calls a bet of 1.5 million from Racener. Both players check the {9-Diamonds} turn. When the rivr falls the {10-Clubs}, Duhamel leads out for 2.2 million. Racener wastes no time in folding.

Racener is down to 25.45 million.
